They went outside to photograph the medina—the walls, the archways, the darkness. But they found something else. Coming out of their hiding places, the medina's night creatures made their presence known...

They wanted a scrap or two; just enough to satisfy their hunger.

A scratching post was also in order.

They wanted to bring these creatures home by the bushel, but soon realized these wild creatures would not have it; they had been bred for thousands of years from medina-stalking ancestors. Within these walls, they would always be safe.
